STAR OF TEXAS FAIR AND RODEO
Staying true to the official sport of Texas, Austin hosts one of America's top 10 Pro-Rodeos every March. The top ranked athletes in each event compete in Rodeo Austin for the title of Champion. Open at 10 a.m. daily, the fairgrounds offers Austin's largest carnival, shopping, food and a variety of shows and special attractions.
OLD SETTLER'S MUSIC FESTIVAL
Old Settler’s Music Festival is a nationally known music festival featuring the best in roots and Americana music. The festival takes place at Salt Lick Pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch, just minutes from Austin. It’s a landscape of shady trees and sunny meadows at the height of bluebonnet season. The music continues nonstop for four straight days, with concerts, workshops, and impromptu jam sessions all day and throughout the night.
AUSTIN REGGAE FESTIVAL
A fundraiser for the Capital Area Food Bank, the event features three days of amazing reggae music on the Main Stage and Charlie’s Dub Corner. In addition to all this great music, the Austin Reggae Festival includes more than 50 vendors selling a variety of delicious food, plus unique arts & crafts.
EEYORES BIRTHDAY PARTY
Eeyores Birthday Party is a fund-raiser to benefit non-profit groups in Austin. Some of these groups will be selling hot and cold food (including vegetarian), soft drinks, juices, spring water, and Texas beer at the event.
PECAN STREET FESTIVAL
The Pecan Street Festival, one of Central Texas’ oldest and most popular events, is a free two-day arts festival held each spring and fall in downtown Austin’s charming Sixth Street Historic District, a National Register of Historic Places site.
AUSTIN CITY LIMITS MUSIC FESTIVAL
ACL Festival takes place on 46-acres in Zilker Park, the crown jewel of Austin’s public green spaces. It plays host not only to 130+ artists from across the globe, but amazing local eats and wares, free fun for the kiddos, green goings-on, and other cool activities to entertain you between sets.
